By accessing or using our website you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions without limitation.
Le Lake Retreat reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will become effective immediately.
Scope of the agreement
Le Lake Retreat offers and sells through this Website: www.lelake.com.au (hereinafter the ‘Website’), access to and bookings for Le Lake Retreat’s calendar of events directly to consumers.
Sales of services offered on the Website are governed by the Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the ‘Terms and Conditions’). The services offered on the Website are sold by Le Lake Retreat which is a company registered under the laws of Australia ACN 626 171 604.
Booking Policy
In making a booking you acknowledge that you, any other persons that you are booking for, and any other person that attends in your place, understand and agree to our Terms and Conditions.
Cancellations & Credits
If you are unable to attend an Le Lake Retreat event that you have booked, the following applies:
Your booking is transferrable to another person – if you can’t make the event you have booked for, you may send a friend in your place – please email or text details of name change.
- Cancellation with more than 7 calendar days’ notice – we will issue you with a full refund. Refunds are in accordance to the manner in which the payment was made.
- Less than 7 days but more than 72 hours’ notice. You can receive a 50% refund of the full ticket price.
- Less than 72 hours’ notice – sorry no refund applicable (remember you can send a friend in your place).
- Rescheduling booking date prior to 7 calendar days charges in full.
- Rescheduling booking date prior to 72 hours charges 50%.
- No credits or refunds applicable if you do not attend without notice.
Cancellation of Events by Le Lake Retreat
Le Lake Retreat reserves the right to cancel an event should the number of participants be deemed to be insufficient.
The very nature of outdoor events means that the weather can determine a decision to cancel an event. Should events need to be cancelled (including due to inclement weather), we will offer an alternative rescheduled date for the event in the same location. If you are unable to make the rescheduled date, you can either rebook for another event or receive a full credit.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The purchaser agrees that the provision of any service, including but not limited to outdoor sessions, purchased from our website is at the Purchaser’s sole risk. To the full extent permissible by applicable law, Le Lake Retreat will not be liable for any damages of any kind and nature whatsoever which may arise out of, or in connection with the use of this site or equipment provided by Le Lake Retreat or participating in the events, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages. No oral advice or written information given by Le Lake Retreat shall create a warranty or legal obligation; nor shall the purchaser rely on any such information or advice.
Photography and Videography
By taking part in an event, you grant Le Lake Retreat full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for promotional purposes. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, and press releases.
If you do not wish for your image to be recorded, we ask that you notify us no later than at the starting time of the session.
